I offer a range of services to help folks become more knowledgeable about how race impacts our daily lives and how they can work to create and sustain inclusive cultures in their sphere of influence. My mission is to challenge inequity wherever I find it.
My 1-on-1 coaching helps provide clients with direction, a sense of purpose, and individual development for those looking to successfully transition into change agents for their communities. I provide a “brave space” for clients to discuss their challenges with understanding bias and oppression and reach their goals when it comes to developing their intercultural competence. 1-on-1 coaching offers clients the opportunity to explore any realm of diversity and inclusion including: race, sexual orientation & gender, ability, etc. You deserve to be confident when discussing issues of diversity and inclusion and I am looking forward to helping you with that.
This 6-week online intensive is designed to help folks explore their own ideas about racism and oppression in America and get the tools necessary to begin having critical conversations about inequity in our society, specifically when discussing issues around race-based oppression. #UnlearningRacism promises to take you from I.C.A.N.T to I.C.A.N.N when it comes to talking about race. After doing some self-exploration on how they have come to hold the beliefs they do, participants are introduced to my H.A.R.D Talks Toolkit to gain the knowledge, confidence, and skills necessary to have productive and insightful dialogues with friends, family, even strangers.
Looking for someone to facilitate a workshop or training at your organization's next conference or retreat? I have a gift for making the complex and controversial issue of race and race-based oppression more palatable to folks who may not engage in these conversations regularly. Each presentation I give is based on research, customized to the specifications of your organization, and presented with my signature brand of relevance and relatability.
I am knowledgeable in the areas of antiracist action/education, microaggressions, and antiblack racism in America.
